7th through 12th grade — what students study, what credits they earn, and how the AP, Running Start, and CTE pathways layer in. Pick a grade below.
This is the per-school intro paragraph that runs above the 7-12 timeline scrubber on MJSHS's academics page. The timeline itself reads from the same district GOOGLE_SHEET_ACADEMICS Sheet that powers /academics — only the rows for grades 7 through 12 appear here.
ISR is 5 minutes — Doc edits propagate within that window.
Monte Jr./Sr. High is a 7-12 school, which means students spend six years here on the way to graduation. The work shifts year by year — from the wider-world fundamentals of 7th and 8th grade, through the foundation work of 9th and 10th grade, into the AP / Running Start / CTE pathways that define 11th and 12th grade.
Pick a grade in the timeline below to see what students study that year — written in plain language. Three pillars per grade: what students learn (course expectations), materials & courses (the actual course list per department), and assessments (end-of-course tests, AP exams, state assessments).
