The last first day, the last home game, and a lot of deadlines in between. Everything a Monte senior family needs to track — dates, orders, scholarships, graduation — collected in one place and kept current by the MJSHS office.
The Class of 2027 walks on Sunday, June 13, 2027.
Senior year comes with more deadlines than any other — orders, applications, forms, and once-in-a-lifetime dates. This page collects them. The office tags senior events on the school calendars and they appear in the list above automatically, so what you see here is always the current word.
Senior Ordering Week has ended, but there is still time to order your graduation cap and gown! Saturday, November 14, is the Jostens Final Group Order Deadline. Orders placed by this deadline will ensure that seniors receive their caps and gowns along with the rest of the graduating class.
Seniors are only required to purchase the Cap & Gown Unit from Jostens (includes gown, cap, tassel, and stole). All other graduation products and packages are optional. Caps and gowns will be delivered to the school after Spring Break.
Please Note: Caps and gowns from previous years cannot be reused due to color variations that occur during manufacturing from year to year.

Congratulations are in order, but don't relax just yet…
It's important that you finish strong without giving in to senioritis. During your senior year, you can now apply to the colleges you narrowed your choices down to. Check the college or university you want to attend to see if you need to take the SAT or ACT — many are not requiring the test. And, of course, make sure you keep in touch with your counselor to ensure you're on track for graduation.

The counseling office maintains the current scholarship list — local awards like Bulldog Boosters and Montesano PTSA plus state and national opportunities — and posts deadlines on the daily bulletin. FAFSA and WASFA both open October 1 for the following school year, and counselors host help sessions in the fall. Start on the counseling page for all of it.

Four-year college, community college, apprenticeship, military, or straight into work — counselors help seniors map any of those paths: applications, transcripts, ASVAB testing, apprenticeship windows, and resume help. The counseling page walks through each option.
