Pay school fees online in RevTrak — and if your family is applying for free or reduced-price meals, read this first: some fees can be waived, but only if you haven't paid them yet.
School starts Wed, September 2. Registration season is the moment — finish all three steps before you pay any fees, and waivers will be in place when charges post.
RevTrak is where you pay school fees online — meal accounts, ASB cards, PE uniforms, club dues, and other charges. But before you pay, check the right-hand column:
Only if you plan to apply for free or reduced-price meals this year. These fees may be waived for approved students — but waivers are not retroactive, and fees already paid cannot be refunded.
Field trips and admission to school events can also be waived for approved students — ask at your school's office.
Submitting an application does not waive fees on its own. Wait until you receive notice that your application has been approved. If it is not approved, these fees will still be owed.
Each step has to be finished before the next one can happen. Fees are not waived until all three are complete.
Submit the application. Nothing is waived yet — the application has to be reviewed first.
You will be notified whether your application was approved. If it is not approved, stop here — these fees will still be owed and should be paid.
Once you are approved, this form appears in Family Access. It is a separate step because federal privacy rules prevent our nutrition services office from sharing eligibility information with the athletic and activities offices without your written permission. Approval alone does not waive fees — nothing is waived until this form is signed.
All three steps must be completed each school year — last year's approval does not carry over.
Please allow 10 school days after the Consent to Share form is submitted for waivers to appear in RevTrak. If your application is still pending when your student needs an ASB card, contact the school office.
Complete all three steps while you register in August. Waivers only work forward, never backward, so finishing before you pay anything means nothing slips through.
The application is open all year, and the same three steps apply the day your student starts. Don't wait for next fall.
A job loss, a new household size, a change in income — you can apply or reapply any month of the year. Eligibility isn't only decided in September.
Each fall, last year's meal status only lasts for the first 30 school days of the new year — reapply early so meals and waivers don't lapse.
Meal applications are confidential — teachers, coaches, and other students never see them. The Consent to Share form passes exactly one thing to the activities office: whether your student qualifies. Your income and application details are never shared.
Washington law requires districts that charge extracurricular fees to waive them for students from low-income families — automatically, once eligibility is known (RCW 28A.325.010, strengthened by House Bill 1660 in 2020). Federal child-nutrition privacy rules are why the separate Consent to Share step exists: meal eligibility can't be shared with anyone, even inside the district, without your written permission.
