Students are our focus. Decisions must be based on what is best for students.
Students learn and succeed when they engage in relevant work with challenging content.
Each employee is important in helping students succeed; therefore, teamwork, communication, and trust must be part of all working relationships.
Adults in the school system model our beliefs by their daily attitude and commitment to learning.
Each individual is a life-long learner through goal setting and professional development.
Community and parent/guardian participation in school activities are encouraged and welcomed.

Goal

Elevate academic achievement and close opportunity gaps for all students.

Increase the four-year cohort graduation rate from 92.1% to 95% by 2030.
Reduce graduation gaps for Hispanic/Latino, Low-Income, and Students with Disabilities by 3 percentage points annually — eliminate by 2030.
Increase grade-level standards proficiency in ELA and Mathematics by 5% annually across all subgroups.
Strengthen family understanding of academic expectations through regular, accessible communication.

Goal

Improve student attendance and engagement by addressing barriers through partnership.

Increase the overall regular attendance rate from 81.5% to 90% by 2030.
Reduce chronic absenteeism by 50% for students experiencing homelessness, English Language Learners, and other historically under-attending groups by 2030.
Co-create individualized attendance improvement plans with families for 100% of chronically absent students.
Grow family and student participation in programs focused on overcoming attendance barriers.

Eliminating BarriersCommunity & Family Engagement

Goal

Ensure all students graduate prepared for college, career, and post-secondary success.

95% of graduating students have a comprehensive High School and Beyond Plan with a confirmed post-secondary step by 2030.
Increase student participation and successful completion in AP, dual credit, and CTE pathways by 15% — with focus on fair access for underrepresented groups.
Grow family involvement in High School and Beyond Plan development by 10% each year.
Host annual college and career readiness workshops for families with growing participation each year.

College & Career ReadinessCommunity & Family Engagement

Goal

Cultivate authentic family and community partnerships for every learner.

Increase unduplicated parent/guardian participation in school engagement activities by 20% by 2030.
Achieve an 85% satisfaction rating from families regarding communication, sense of welcome, and partnership.
Establish at least 5 strategic community partnerships providing direct academic, social-emotional, or resource support by 2030.
Implement a district-wide tiered communication system with translation for families' native languages.

Community & Family EngagementEliminating Barriers

Goal

Foster a culture of excellence through high-quality instruction and inclusive learning.

100% of instructional staff participate annually in meaningful, evidence-based professional development.
Achieve a 90% positive rating from students, staff, and families on annual school climate surveys.
Maintain a General Fund balance above 6% annually for fiscal stability.
Implement restorative practices district-wide, with family involvement, by 2027.
