Welcome, and thank you for volunteering! The first step is to register as an officer on the Club/Sport Contact Information Sheet. Get the link from your coach, or, if you already have access, find it inside the Bulldog Boosters Google Classroom.

Once your name is on the Contact Information Sheet, we will invite you to the Google Classroom by email.

Any coach, club facilitator, and parent representative of a sport or club.

Every General Boosters form and document lives in the Google Classroom. If you don't have access yet, contact any board member and we'll get you in.

The General Boosters Club is a parent- and community-led organization that supports students, school programs, activities, and athletics. It raises and manages funds, helps coordinate fundraisers, and provides support for needs the school district doesn't cover. It also helps the individual booster clubs follow consistent procedures and work together.

Each year the Boosters ask businesses to advertise at school facilities including Jack Rottle Field, Vessey Field, and Bo Griffith Memorial Gymnasium. At least 20% of advertising proceeds go to the General Boosters; the rest goes to the club the business designates. All other fundraiser proceeds go directly to the club hosting the fundraiser.

Your individual club supports one team, activity, or program. The General Boosters Club oversees and coordinates all Montesano booster clubs and is the official representative and liaison with school administration. An individual club may have parent representatives or its own board, but those members are not the legal representatives of the Boosters.

Club representatives are responsible for making sure their group follows the General Boosters' policies and procedures. That keeps fundraising, spending, and recordkeeping consistent and properly managed.

Booster clubs are parent and community organizations that support students. ASB is a student organization operating inside the school district, and its money is public money under state law. The two are kept separate on purpose: booster clubs may not have students volunteer at or run their events and fundraisers, because student-run fundraising becomes ASB money.

Heather Bruland at the school is the contact for all ASB questions.

Every fundraiser must be approved by the Booster Board. Apply in the Google Classroom by completing the Fundraising Event Request Form, and allow at least 5 business days for approval.

Please don't contact school administration about fundraising events. The General Booster Board communicates with the school on behalf of every club. All flyers and signage also need approval before they're posted. Skipping these steps can limit a club's future fundraising opportunities.

No. Venmo is no longer allowed; funds are managed only through the Booster accounts. To collect electronic payments, use your club's QR code, which is posted in the Google Classroom. If you don't see one, email montesanoboosters@gmail.com. The QR code is the only approved way to collect donations electronically.

The Boosters are one legal entity without a gambling license, so we can run only two raffles per year. The 50/50 raffle that runs all year for every club and sport is one of them, and any club may ask to take part in it. The other raffle goes to the first club that requests it in a calendar year.

To check out 50/50 tickets and cash bags, use the 50/50 check-out sheet in the Google Classroom and a board member will arrange pickup. A raffle run without Boosters approval can't be deposited into the Booster fund and could limit that club's future fundraising approvals.

Step 1: Log into the Google Classroom and complete the Deposit Submittal Form.

Step 2: Put the money in an envelope and hand it to a coach; coaches know the drop procedure. Write on the outside of the envelope: your name, the club, the event or category, the date, and the total inside.

Deposits are picked up on Thursdays and deposited in the bank on Fridays.

The Treasurer sends monthly balances to each coach, club facilitator, and parent representative. If you need one sooner, contact the Treasurer.

The Boosters have two debit cards, available first come, first served. Complete the Debit Card Request Form in the Google Classroom; a board member will email you pickup details. Debit cards have a per-transaction limit, so plan ahead for large purchases.

Complete the Invoice Payment Request Form in the Google Classroom.

Complete the Expense Reimbursement Request Form in the Google Classroom.

Plan ahead. If you need to fundraise for it, or it's for a specific need, contact the Board President first. If you've already raised the money, give us notice so we can have a check ready or raise the debit card limit and your program isn't held up.

Individual clubs no longer award their own scholarships. All scholarships are managed and awarded through the General Boosters, except Football and Wrestling, whose long-standing programs and larger balances keep their own. Club funds should support current participants: uniforms, equipment, overnight trips, team events, and similar expenses.

Providing scholarships is one of the General Boosters' main responsibilities. If your club would like to help announce scholarships at the end-of-year awards ceremony, contact the board. Football and Wrestling representatives should contact the board for the updated scholarship process and forms.
