Simpson supply lists

The list below is what we ask each family to send with their child on the first day.

Can't buy everything? Reach out to the office. We have community-donated supplies and we will quietly cover what your family needs. No child shows up empty-handed.

For all grades (3rd–6th)

• 1 sturdy backpack (no wheels)
• 1 reusable water bottle (labeled with name)
• 1 pair of wired headphones or earbuds for Chromebook use
• 1 box of tissues for the classroom (optional)
• 1 container of disinfecting wipes for the classroom (optional)
• 1 container of hand sanitizer (optional)
• Tennis shoes for PE (kept in cubby or backpack if not worn to school on PE days)

3rd grade

• 2 dozen Ticonderoga #2 pencils
• 1 box of 24 crayons
• 1 box of colored pencils
• 1 box of markers (8 count or larger)
• 1 wide-rule spiral notebook
• 1 package wide-rule loose leaf notebook paper
• 1 pair of student scissors
• 2 glue sticks
• 2 black fine or ultra fine Sharpies

4th grade

• 2 dozen Ticonderoga #2 pencils
• Pink pearl erasers (no pencil tops)
• 1 pencil box
• 1 box of markers (both thick and thin)
• 1 box of 24 crayons
• 1 box of colored pencils
• 1 composition notebook
• 2 wide-rule spiral notebooks
• 1 package wide-rule loose leaf notebook paper
• 2 pocket folders
• 1 pair of student scissors
• 8 Elmer’s glue sticks
• 1 Elmer’s Glue-All liquid white glue
• 5 Expo markers
• 2 regular Sharpies
• 1 supply box without holes to fit ALL art supplies (Mrs. Fredrickson’s students only)

5th grade

• 4 dozen Ticonderoga #2 pencils
• 2 packages of notebook paper
• 2 spiral notebooks
• 1 composition notebook
• 3 pocket folders
• Glue sticks and liquid glue
• Whiteboard markers
• Whiteboard eraser
• Highlighters
• Oil pastels
• Watercolor paints
• 1 pair of student scissors
• Markers (both thin and thick tip)
• 1 box of colored pencils
• Erasers (cap and/or big)
• 1 handheld pencil sharpener
• 1 box of 24 crayons
• 2 black Sharpies (1 fine tip, 1 ultra fine tip)
• Pencil box/art tub (recommend 12x7x8.5 tub from The Dollar Tree or similar; not needed for Mrs. M. Plato’s students)

6th grade

• 2 dozen Ticonderoga #2 pencils
• black or blue non-erasable ink pens
• Red pens
• Highlighters
• Pink pearl erasers
• 1 box of colored pencils
• 1 box of markers
• 1 handheld pencil sharpener
• 1 pencil pouch or box
• Glue sticks

Please don't send

• Trapper Keepers or binders. They don't fit the desks.
• Toys, fidgets, trading cards. Lost, fought-over, distracting.
• Smart watches with messaging. Treated as phones — must be off and put away.
