Shopping tips
- Don't pre-label until you know the teacher. Some classrooms pool supplies, some don't.
- Crayola is worth the extra dollar. Off-brand crayons break and off-brand pencils don't sharpen.
- Walmart and Target run a Washington tax-free school supply weekend in late July most years — watch the flyer.
