Preschool

Beacon's preschool serves children ages 3–4 with a curriculum that blends play, early literacy, social-emotional learning, and the routines of a school day. Students must qualify for this program through Special Education. Fill out a screening request if you have developmental concerns for your child and would like to see if they qualify. Beacon will call you to schedule an appointment.

Transition to Kindergarten (TK)

TK is for children who turn 4 on or before August 31 and would benefit from one more year of preschool-style learning before kindergarten. The state-funded program is free; eligibility is determined by Beacon staff in consultation with families. TK is full at this time, but students can still join if they qualify through Special Education, determined by a screening.

How to apply

  1. Fill out a screening request.
  2. Submit the standard enrollment paperwork through Skyward Family Access.
  3. Beacon will contact you to schedule a screening appointment.

Schedule

Preschool runs morning and afternoon sessions. TK follows the regular Beacon school day. Specific times are confirmed during the intake conversation based on family preference and staffing.
