Winter Conferences

Beacon Elementary will be holding winter conferences Thursday, February 5 and Friday, February 6. Beacon students will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m. on these days. Morning kindergarten students will not attend school on February 5.  Afternoon kindergarten students will attend class in the morning instead.  There is no afternoon preschool on February 5.  There is no afternoon kindergarten on February 6. 

Your child’s teacher has maintained documentation of the progress your student has made toward achieving grade level standards. At this conference the teacher will be able to provide detailed information regarding skills which have been attained and those skills on which your student needs to focus for the remainder of the year. Report cards will be mailed home on February 6.

In some cases teachers will not request a conference. If you would like a conference with one of the specialists, please call the Beacon office at 249-4528 to arrange an appointment.
