Montesano is a community where people learn, grow and work together. With high-quality instruction, every student, regardless of race, class, language, or disability, can succeed.
After high school, I will be going to Grays Harbor for a year then going to Orange Coast College in California.
My favorite high school memory would have to be when our drill team won districts and we were on our way to state (which clearly couldn’t happen). I was so proud of my team and excited to see where we went at the state level.
My plans after high school are to work during this summer to get a vehicle and start investments. Towards the end of this year, I'll decide whether to start a career in engineering with the Air Force or through a trade school.
My favorite memories were playing my last year of soccer, learning throughout the years from our amazing staff, and especially spending time with my freshman year math group.
After graduation, I plan to continue my education and baseball career at Grays Harbor Community College.
Some of my favorite memories from school were playing sports with my friends. Beating Hoquiam to win the District Championship for baseball, standing on the podium twice in the Tacoma Dome for State Wrestling, the loudest home crowd ever during the football playoffs, and returning an interception for a touchdown during football are memories I will never forget.
Hello, my name is Karlee Leach, and I am a MHS 2020 graduate. My plans after high school are to go to Grays Harbor College, and get my associates degree in Psychology. After that, I plan on going to WSU to get my master’s degree in clinical psychology. I plan on either going further in my education after that, or doing something with my master’s degree.
My favorite memory was the nerf war my junior year.
After high school I plan on attending Grand Canyon University to study nursing. All the best memories I have of high school are just any time my friends have made me smile, like when Sophie would give me a hug everyday, or Kate would bake something for me, or when Molly got ham stuck in her nose at lunch. (Sorry Molly, the world knows now.)
Come graduation, whenever that may be, I will not only graduate with my diploma, but also with my AA. My plan and passion is to flip houses—to restore the broken and make them beautiful again.
To me, high school was all about getting the most fun out of everything in order to truly experience friendship, self discovery and most importantly, growth.
Even if we don’t know where we’re headed in life, as long as we know who we are and what we want out of our journey, we can do anything, and with God, we can do everything. I hope that my fellow seniors will be able to look back at all of the highs and the lows of high school and see that all along we were blooming.
aka “Captain America”... will attending the Montesano transition program in the fall. Also working part-time at the Harpo paper mill, in Aberdeen. Tommy has enjoyed his computer and woodworking classes. Tommy’s favorite memory was being the team manager for the basketball team (C-squad, his first year at Montesano High) Being a part of that team, Tommy made such great friends and got to play in the last game.
I will be attending Grays Harbor college in the fall, where I will be finishing my general education classes. Then after that I will continue my education at a university.
