Montesano School District’s Highly Capable Program

Submit Referral

The Montesano School District will be accepting 2018 referral forms for students to be evaluated for the Highly Capable Program between Monday, September 17th and Friday, September 28th.  Students already enrolled in the Hicap Program do not retest each year.  Forms are available in each building and can be turned in at your school's office or submitted via the link listed above.  Forms turned in after the September 28th deadline will be considered for evaluation next year.   After the referral form is turned in, parents/guardians will need to give their permission by October 5th for students to be tested. Those forms are also available in the school offices.  Testing will occur in October/November and families will be notified of the evaluation results by mail.  If your student has been tested in the previous two consecutive years, please contact Julie Aldrich  at 249-4331 before referring your child again this year.  Because we evaluate so many students each fall in grades K-12, this process takes time. You will be notified of results via mail by the end of November.
