An annual information update must be completed for all students currently enrolled in the Montesano School District. The information update will be available Monday, August 12 through Friday, August 16, 2024. It is critical that you complete all the online forms during this timeframe.

To update your student's information, log in to Skyward Family Access and click on "Annual Student Information Update" to follow the steps. You will be able to see your child’s class placement in Skyward under "Schedule" once the information update is complete. Please note that class placement is subject to change based on enrollment needs and class sizes. You will be notified if a change is made. 

If you do not have access to a computer, you may access one at Timberland Regional Library or at the Simpson office by appointment. Skyward online forms may not display properly via the Skyward app. We recommend accessing Skyward through a web browser if you choose to do the update on a smartphone or mobile device. If you need Skyward assistance, please email simpsonskyward@monteschools.org.  

You may also contact the Simpson Elementary office at (360) 249-4331 when the office opens on August 19, 2024.

The Simpson office is currently closed for summer break. The office will reopen August 19, 2024.

Families should check their emails for back to school information in August. Updates will also be posted on the Simpson website. Any new enrollment applications submitted over the summer will be processed when the office reopens in late August.

School will be on a 2 hour late start Friday, March 1 due to road conditions. School starts at 10:20 a.m.

Lunch will be served at school.

There is no school on Monday, February 19 in observance of Presidents Day.

Simpson will dismiss at 12:10 p.m. on Thursday, February 8 and Friday, February 9 for elementary conferences.

Simpson Elementary School will dismiss at 12:10 p.m. on Friday, December 15.

School will be closed December 18 - January 1 for winter break.

School resumes January 2, 2024.

Simpson Elementary will have a spirit week December 11-15. All students are encouraged to participate by dressing up according to each day's theme.

Travel back in time to classroom lessons on Zoom! Business up top, casual on the bottom!

Tuesday, December 12: Staff/Student Swap Day

Staff dress like students, students dress like staff!

Wednesday, December 13: Pajama Day

Thursday, December 14: Classroom Mystery Day

Classrooms decide on their class theme and others have to guess what their theme is!

Friday, December 15: Bulldog Pride Day

The Simpson Elementary Arts Program winter performances will take place on December 13 and December 14. In addition to choir concerts, students' visual art pieces will be on display at the performances.

Wednesday, December 13 (Grades 3 and 5)

• Grade 3 will perform at 5:30 p.m.

• Grade 5 will perform at 6:30 p.m.

Thursday, December 14 (Grades 4 and 6)

• Grade 4 will perform at 5:30 p.m.

• Grade 6 will perform at 6:30 p.m.

All performances will take place in the Simpson Elementary School gym. Students must check in with their teacher 20 minutes prior to their performance time for attendance. Students should wear appropriate concert attire.
