Junior-Senior Ball is April 23!

The 2022 Junior-Senior Ball is coming! The ‘Enchanted Garden’ dance will be Saturday, April 23 from 8:00-10:00PM in the Commons. The dance is restricted to Juniors & Seniors, however freshmen and sophomores of MHS may attend as a guest of a junior or senior student.

After great consideration and student feedback, school administration has decided to allow outside visitors to the Jr/Sr Ball on April 23rd if the guests meet certain requirements. First, like previous dances, outside guests must be under the age of 21 and must be escorted by a current junior or senior of MHS. Secondly, like previous dances, school age guests must have a guest form signed by their administrator stating they are of good character. The form must be turned into the MHS office no later than Friday, April 15th. Once the form is turned in, the Montesano student must schedule an interview with MHS administration and his/her guest. Interviews can be done before/after school in person or via Zoom and should take no longer than 15 minutes. All interviews must be done by Thursday, April 21st for outside guests to attend. Tickets for outside guests may be purchased after guest approval by administration.

Dance tickets are on sale now and will be sold before school, during passing periods, and during lunch. Purchase your ticket from the Bookkeeping Office. Tickets are $10 per person or $20 per couple. Speaking of the dance….are you looking for a Prom dress? You (and your friends) can make an appointment by contacting Mrs. Dalan at kdalan@monteschools.org. Dresses are $20.
