Montesano School District will enroll new students for the 2021-2022 school year beginning April 26, 2021. New student enrollment may be completed online using the Skyward Family Access system. There is an early release on Friday, April 2. It will be a remote learning day for all students.

Beacon Elementary students should follow their Wednesday half-day remote schedule (homeroom teacher’s schedule only; no specialists.)

There is no school on Friday, March 26. It is a scheduled weather day.

We are excited to partner with Lifetouch once again to offer individual school pictures. Picture Day for the A Cohort will be on Tuesday, March 16. Picture Day for the B Cohort will be on Friday, March 19. Pictures will be taken without masks. Appropriate safety measures and social distancing will be followed.

Remote students and MODEL students may drop in between 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16 to have their pictures taken, if desired. Pictures will be taken in the Beacon library. Unfortunately, retakes will not be offered this year.

Order forms will be sent home the week of March 1. If you would like to order pictures for your child, please send the order form with exact payment on picture day. You may also order online at mylifetouch.com using Picture Day ID: EVT6NHK8C.

Inclement Weather: Please be prepared for remote learning in the event of inclement weather.

There is no school on Monday, January 18 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday.

Beacon Elementary School is excited to welcome back our K-2 students on a hybrid schedule beginning the week of January 11, 2021. Please view our January newsletter for very important details about returning to school.

Beacon student learning packets for kindergarten, first grade, and second grade will be available for pickup the week of December 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. outside your child’s classroom. Please wear a mask and maintain social distance.

As a reminder, learning packets (K-2) are available the first full week and third week of each month. The next learning packet pick up is scheduled for the week of January 4.

If picking up a packet is a hardship for your family, please let your child's teacher know to discuss delivery options.
