Read MoreAn annual information update must be completed for all students currently enrolled in the Montesano School District. To update your student's information, log in to Skyward Family Access and click on “Annual Student Information Update”. Information must be updated by August 18, 2025. The link to Skyward Family Access is located on the Montesano School District website at www.monteschools.org. If your child has multiple households and you are unable to view the update on your Skyward account, it is because the update must be completed by the family that is listed first on the student’s Skyward account.
You will be able to see your child’s class placement in Skyward under "Schedule" once the information update is complete.

Families should check their emails for back to school information in August. Updates will also be posted on the Beacon website. Any new enrollment applications submitted over the summer will be processed when the office reopens in late August.

Read MoreEnrollment is now open for the 2025-2026 school year. Click the links below to enroll NEW students using the Skyward Family Access system. Proof of age, immunization records, and proof of residency are required at the time of enrollment for all students. Students already attending Montesano schools do not need to re-enroll.
Read MoreParent input week is now open for both Beacon Elementary and Simpson Elementary. This is an opportunity for parents to provide input regarding your child's learning style or needs for class placement for the upcoming school year. All submissions will be taken into consideration by the principals. Please refrain from requesting particular teachers, as we are unable to accommodate such requests. Your form must be submitted by 3:00 p.m. on April 25, 2025.

Read MoreDue to inclement weather and road conditions, school is on a 3-hour late start for Thursday, February 6, 2025. School will start at 11:20 a.m.. Beacon Elementary will still have early dismissal at 12:00 p.m. for conferences. Conferences will take place as scheduled.
We recognize that a late start combined with an early dismissal can be difficult for families. For this reason, any absences will be excused if parents choose to keep their child at home.
