Character Matters Assemblies in HS Gym Today

Shout out to the Boy’s Golf Team who won the Annual Sibley Scramble on Monday. The team shot a collective score of 130, which broke the all time tournament record. Aaron Black and Colton Grubb broke the individual two-person team record by shooting a low score of 63 (which is 9 under par.) Ayhdn Sauer and Caden Grubb tied the previous record with a two-person team score of 67. London Towle and Niall Kohlmeier rounded out the team with a two-person team score of 77. Overall, it was a great day of golf and an incredible performance by our Boys. Congrats to the Sibley Scramble Champions!
ATTENTION JUNIORS...We need your artistic help with Homecoming Decorations. Decorating will be everyday during HS lunch in Mrs. Ray's room #304.
Join Drama Club! For this year’s Fall production of Senior One Acts, the Drama Club Presents…Places in Five! Want to be a part of the action?! Attend our first Club Meeting before school tomorrow, September 25, 2025 at 7:50a.m. in the library to learn more! Auditions are scheduled for Monday, September 29, 2025 3-4 p.m. and Tuesday, September 30, 2025 5-6 p.m. with possible additional auditions dates during that week as needed.
Performances are scheduled for Friday, November 21 through Sunday, November 23. All club members are eligible to audition for roles as well as participate in activities for the performance such as stage crew, sets and props, hair and make-up, costuming, and more!
We will also have Spring Musical TBD that is scheduled for May as well as many fun events, activities, and field trips throughout the year!
Book Club is now open to all students grades 7-12. Our first meeting is this Friday at noon in room 407. If you love to read, come meet with us.
Chef Bachtell is starting a new Culinary Club. All high school students are invited to come to an informational meeting on Friday, September 26, during HS lunch in his classroom #508.
Junior High Honor Club is currently accepting applications for new 8th grade members. If you are interested in joining, please attend Friday's meeting during 4th period in room 207. Applications will be due on October 3rd.
This year FCA meetings will be for grades 9-12. JH students stay tuned for FCA activities that will include you.
Hey Seniors! Check your student email for the senior personality ballots! You should be receiving 12 separate ballots. Voting ends tomorrow, September 25 and winners will be announced during the assembly on Monday September 29. If you have any questions or trouble voting, please contact Mrs. Schrader.
The Homecoming Dance, A Night in Rio, will be Saturday, October 4 from 8:00-10:30PM. This dance is for high school students only. If you are bringing a guest from another school to our dance, interviews will begin this week. All guests (+their MHS date) will have a brief interview (either in-person or by video) with Ms. Greene in order to be approved to attend this MHS function.
Tickets are $15 if paying with cash or check. Tickets can also be purchased online (scan the QR code in the Bookkeeping window-there is a service fee charge for this option, invitation code “MHS”). Tickets can be purchased before school, during HS lunch, or after school. Tickets will not be sold during class time.
If you are looking for a dress or suit for Homecoming, the dance closet is now open and has lots of new or gently used options. Please contact Mrs. Dalan to set up an appointment to check out the dresses and suits.
SENIORS! Please stop by the HS Office and see Mrs. Sweet to verify the spelling of your name for your diploma.
Seniors! If you’re planning to apply to the University of Washington – Seattle, the application deadline is November 15.
Seniors interested in attending Washington State University with a minimum 3.8 GPA see your school counselor about a time sensitive scholarship opportunity.
ATTENTION all students, DO NOT JAM your lockers!! Jamming the locks can damage them and make your locker unusable. If your locker is found jammed, you may be assigned lunch detention or a fine.
