The Service League is hosting a fun Pie in the Face fundraiser! Bring in money to vote for which teacher — Mrs. Bull, Mr. Uber, Mr. Sanchez, Mr. Grajek, Mr. Farmer, or Mr. Klinger — should get pied. The teacher with the most money in their bin gets a pie to the face, so start collecting your change and cast your vote! Mr. Farmer remains in the lead with $71.17!

10th-12th-grade students- have you ever thought about a career in the military? The United States Air Force will have a representative here - October 16th at 11:30AM in the library to present information about their program and ROTC. Sign up in Schoolinks. 

Attention JH students. Girls basketball starts on Monday, Oct. 20th. If you are interested please make sure that all of your final forms paperwork is complete. We will have an informational meeting tomorrow, October 15 for any girls interested in playing. Please get your lunch first and come up to Mrs. Parkin’s room 205. 

Our school is participating in the Washington State Healthy Youth Survey this month. Grades 8, 10 and 12 are scheduled to take the survey Wednesday, October 22. The survey provides information about youth in Washington State and helps create access to school and community-based services. Students’ answers are anonymous. There is information about the survey on the Montesano Jr/Sr High School website and also posted in the lunchroom. If you have any questions, please see your school counselor. 

PSAT – Wednesday, October 29. The PSAT will be offered for 11th graders. Spots are limited, so juniors should sign up in SchooLinks as soon as possible. We also have 10 spots reserved for 10th graders. Sophomores interested in taking the test should see their school counselor for details. The cost, still to be determined, will be between $15 and $18.

Attention High School Knowledge Bowlers:  Practices will start soon for the 2025-26 season. Pick up a rules and team sign up sheet from Mr. Raines or Mr. Rowekamp. Practices will start on Monday, October 27th and the first meet will be on Friday, November 21st.
