Summer Break

The Beacon office is currently closed for summer break. The office will reopen August 19, 2024.

Families should check their emails for back to school information in August. Updates will also be posted on the Beacon website. Any new enrollment applications submitted over the summer will be processed when the office reopens in late August.

Additionally, parent input week has begun. If you would like to provide input regarding your child's learning style or needs for the upcoming school year, please complete one of the forms below by Friday, April 26 at 3:00 p.m.. All submissions will be taken into consideration by the principals.

Law Enforcement Memorial Service

On Sunday, April 21, there will be a memorial service at Montesano Junior-Senior High School for Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Deputy Jason Gregory.

There will be a large police presence in addition to expected traffic congestion and road closures. Additionally, there will be military honors which means you may hear firearms discharged.

Pajama Day!

Students are invited to wear pajamas to school on Friday, December 15. Pajamas must be appropriate and allow for students to participate in all school activities, including recess and PE. Students should not wear slippers. Students may not bring a pillow, stuffed animal, or blanket, unless otherwise indicated by their teacher.

Beacon Winter Concerts

On Wednesday, December 6, Beacon Elementary School students will be performing a selection of their favorite winter songs under the direction of Mrs. Allison Fagerstedt, Elementary Creative Arts Teacher. Students are encouraged to wear nicer than normal school clothes or holiday attire to their performance. Students are to report to the Beacon multipurpose room on the evening of their concert.
