Parent input week is scheduled for April 24 – April 28 for both Beacon Elementary and Simpson Elementary. If you would like to provide input regarding your child's learning style or needs for the upcoming school year, please complete the online form below. We strongly emphasize that this form is not intended for requesting a specific teacher name for the following year. Rather, we value hearing about how to best support your child's academic journey. Please provide information that will help us find the best fit for your child based on their unique needs and learning style. Thank you for utilizing this form as the primary means of communication for placement considerations. All submissions will be carefully reviewed and taken into consideration by the staff to ensure the best possible educational experience for your child.

Beacon Elementary School will dismiss at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 27.

Our winter concerts have been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 18. Beacon Elementary School students will be performing a selection of their favorite winter songs under the direction of Mrs. Allison Fagerstedt, Elementary Creative Arts Teacher. Students are encouraged to wear nicer than normal school clothes or holiday attire to their performance. Students are to report to the Beacon multipurpose room on the evening of their concert.

Due to limited parking and space available in the Beacon multipurpose room, please strictly adhere to the arrival and departure times so that all families may have the opportunity to enjoy the performances. Please arrive NO EARLIER than 10 minutes before performance time and depart NO LATER than 10 minutes following the performance.

Kindergarten Performance: 5:30 p.m.

First Grade Performance: 6:15 p.m.

Second Grade Performance: 7:00 p.m.

There is no school on Monday, January 16 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Beacon Elementary School will dismiss at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20.

School will be closed December 21 - January 3 for winter break.

School resumes January 4, 2023.

Unfortunately, the winter concerts for our Beacon and Simpson students are postponed. Once affected staff members running the concerts are healthy and back in the buildings, we will coordinate a new plan.

We apologize for the postponement and wish families a happy and healthy closing of 2022.
